MCFUSE Bargaining Proposals July 2020 Beginning in early July, MCFUSE made a number of proposals addressing a safe return to work in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have posted those proposals for you to review yourself. To date, the Gallup McKinley School District has not issued a single counter-proposal. We have worked hard to initiate a dialogue to make sure your voices are being heard. Our efforts have been met with the silence of no response, no counter-proposals. As we stand today, the District has issued no new policy to provide special protection to educators who are at high risk of serious illness if they contract the virus. Sadly, as we stand today, the District has offered zero accommodations for those educators who are living with husbands or wives who may have cancer, kidney disease, organ transplants or serious heart conditions. Instead, the District has ordered all employees to school. We, at MCFUSE, are working hard to turn the tide; we need your help. Please call your local leaders and ask them what you can do to help.
